Hyderabad: The TPCC Disciplinary Committee has decided to convene another meeting to examine the complaints against Forest Minister Konda Surekha and reach a decision accordingly.
Committee Chairman Mallu Ravi stated that the panel had reviewed the Forest Minister’s reply to its notice. He also admitted that a few MLAs had approached the panel to discuss the Konda Sushmitha matter. “As a Minister, she should at least condemn the remarks made by her own daughter. But, citing principles of natural justice, she claims no connection. We cannot say right now when action will be taken,” Mallu Ravi said.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, the Disciplinary Committee chairman said extensive discussions were held on three issues, including the explanation submitted by State Planning Board Vice Chairman G Chinna Reddy. The committee would summon Wanaparthy MLA T Megha Reddy, who filed the complaint against Chinna Reddy, again to seek further clarification, he said.
Regarding the row involving Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, Mallu Ravi said no complaint had been received against the MLA. “We will follow due procedure regarding Rajgopal Reddy’s matter. We are considering whether or not to take suo-motu action,” Mallu Ravi added.
On the dispute between Srinivas Reddy and Sanjeeva Reddy during the Political Affairs Committee meeting at Adilabad, in-charge Minister Jupally Krishna Rao had submitted his report to the committee. A decision is expected shortly.
