Hyderabad Task Force arrests three habitual house breakers

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force caught three habitual offenders involved in a series of house-breaking and property offences across the State. The police also arrested a receiver of stolen property and recovered gold, silver ornaments, mobile phones and other articles worth around Rs 12 lakh.

Those nabbed are identified as Derangula Hari Babu alias Nani (21), Tanniru Surya alias Suri (22), and Narala Rahul (21), who were allegedly involved in multiple house-breaking cases. The receiver of stolen property, Sabavat Ravi (27), an auto driver from Moulali, was also apprehended.


According to the police, Hari Babu, who was released from jail in June this year, formed a gang with Surya and Rahul and resumed committing house-breaking and thefts. The police seized 80 grams of gold, 258 grams of silver ornaments, four mobile phones, an iron rod, a screwdriver and two motorcycles used by the gang.
