The vigilance and enforcement officials found 3,029 metric tonnes of rice missing from industry

Medak: The vigilance and enforcement officials, along with district civil supplies department officials, raided Satya Sai Agro Rice Mills and Industries located at Kulcharam on Tuesday and found 3,029 metric tonnes of rice missing. The cost of the missing rice was pegged at Rs 7.17 crore.

The officials registered a complaint against the mill owner, D Srinivas, under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. They sent a report to Medak Collector Prathima Singh, seeking further action against the industry management.
