Hyderabad will host a ‘The Traitors’-inspired game night on September 27, bringing around 20 participants together for missions, strategy, alliances and unexpected twists. Organised by Nishara founder Meenakshi Dhanania, the event aims to offer an immersive social experience.

Hyderabad: Trust will be tested, alliances will be formed and a little betrayal is on the cards as Hyderabad gets ready for a game night inspired by Amazon Prime Video’s ‘The Traitors’. Set to take place on September 27, the event will bring the show’s suspense and strategy into a live setting, giving participants a chance to experience the game rather than simply watch it.
Taking place at Hummus House from 3 pm to 7 pm, the event will bring together approximately 20 players for an afternoon of missions, conversations and unexpected twists. Organised by Nishara founder Meenakshi Dhanania, the game night is aimed at people looking for a more engaging way to socialise, with the format putting trust and decision-making at the centre of the experience.
The event will draw from the reality series’ mix of hidden agendas, alliances and strategic gameplay. Participants will have to work together, observe one another and make decisions as the game unfolds.
“We’re taking inspiration from the core concept of The Traitors and creating our own immersive game-night experience around trust, strategy, deception and alliances,” said Meenakshi.
Missions and activities will form part of the experience, testing teamwork, observation and strategy. The organisers are choosing not to disclose the challenges in advance, allowing players to discover the format as they participate rather than arrive with a complete game plan.
“We don’t want to reveal too much about the challenges beforehand because a big part of the fun is discovering them for themselves on the day, but there will be missions and challenges inspired by the format of the show,” said Meenakshi.
The idea for the event came from a reel asking people whether they would be interested in a creative, interactive meetup. The response was larger than expected, with many expressing interest in experiences that offered more than a conventional social gathering.
“The Traitors felt like the perfect concept because it brings people together while also creating an element of mystery, strategy and interaction,” said Meenakshi.
The game night will offer participants an opportunity to meet new people while navigating the challenges of the game, with conversations and alliances playing an important role. The organisers hope to create an experience that feels like stepping into the show, while leaving enough surprises for participants to discover along the way.
“The aim is for it to feel less like simply attending an event and more like stepping into the game itself,” said Meenakshi.
The Traitors Game Night participation is priced at Rs 1,500 per person, with approximately 20 players expected to take part.
