Hyderabad: The Balapur police will shortly file a petition before the court seeking the custody of two murder suspects, Sayeed Bin Faisal Baom and Salman Bin Abdul Raheem Baom alias Salam Baom, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody for allegedly murdering Fahad Bin Abdul Rahman Balkhashar three days ago.

The two suspects were arrested two days ago and subsequently remanded to judicial custody. Police officials said they would seek the suspects’ custody for further interrogation as part of the ongoing investigation.

According to the police, Fahad Balkhashar died after the two suspects allegedly assaulted him with a stick and later stabbed him with a knife at his residence near Madina Plastic Godown in Mariyam Colony, Kothapet, at around 2.40 am on July 6. He was rushed to Owaisi Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Police attribute the murder to a financial dispute between the victim and the suspects. However, sources said the dispute is also believed to be linked to certain content stored on a mobile phone, which has since been seized by investigators for forensic examination.
