A viral video showing a traffic constable allegedly slapping a motorist during a drunk-driving check at Gachibowli has triggered criticism on social media. Citizens questioned police conduct, while the incident renewed concerns over alleged high-handed behaviour during enforcement drives.

Hyderabad: A traffic police constable slapped a man during drunk driving checking at Gachibowli triggering discussions of police highhandedness in the city.
In a video that has gone viral on social media the traffic policeman is seen asking the motorist who was stopped for checking during drunk driving at Gachibowli asking the man to blow in the breathe analyzer machine. After repeated attempts the man could not blow as expected angering the traffic cop.
The traffic policeman lost his cool and slapped the motorist aged around 50 years in presence of other cops.
The video filmed by an individual during the checking was shared on social media and went viral on SM platforms. The citizens are questioning the authority of traffic policemen and condemning their highlander behavior.
A few days ago,a biker complained that a sub inspector had hit him with a lathi during checking at Madhapur road.
