UoH opens PG admissions 2026–27, CUET (PG) scores mandatory for most courses

The University of Hyderabad has opened applications for PG admissions 2026–27, offering 1,295 seats across various programmes. Most admissions will be based on CUET (PG) scores, while MTech courses will use GATE scores. Applications are open until June 8.

UoH opens PG admissions 2026–27, CUET (PG) scores mandatory for most courses

Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has opened online applications for its postgraduate programmes for the 2026–27 academic year. Admissions for the majority of courses are based on CUET (PG) 2026 scores.

The university has announced an intake of 1,295 seats across its core MA, MSc, MPA, MVA, MBA (Business Analytics/ Health care & Hospital management) and other master’s programmes. Additionally, 36 seats are available for MTech Microelectronics & VLSI Design, 40 seats for MCA, and 29 seats for MSc Biotechnology.


For specialised technical programmes, UoH offers 100 seats for M Tech courses (Computer Science, AI, and Bioinformatics) through GATE scores via CCMT counselling.

Aspiring students can apply via the official academic portal https://acad.uohyd.ac.in/ until June 8. The first merit list will be released on July 9, with classes commencing on July 23. A notification for admission to Integrated PG programmes will be released after CUET (UG) results are announced, the UoH said.
