Hyderabad: The Chatrinaka Police Station reunited a nine-year-old girl with her family within hours after she went missing on Friday.

According to police, the child was located after a Dial 100 distress call alerted officers about an unidentified girl wandering alone. A constable rushed to the spot and found the child in a distressed condition. As she was initially unable to explain her whereabouts, police comforted her and began searching nearby areas to trace her family.

The girl was later identified as Siddeshwari alias Sanjana, a Class 5 student, who had come with her family from Bidar to attend a relative’s function at Ambika Nagar in Uppuguda. During the event, she reportedly got separated from her family and lost her way.

After verifying details, police safely handed the child over to her mother, Mahananda. Family members thanked the Chatrinaka police for the swift response and timely assistance.
