Zionists death toll rises to 600 as army calls up reservists

The Israeli regime military was engaged in a massive build-up of forces Saturday night, calling up large numbers of reservists and preparing for war as it continued to reel from one of the darkest days in the fake regime’s history.

The regime media have cited the medical sources as saying that the Zionists’ death toll has risen to 359 while over 2,048 were wounded and apparently dozens were taken hostage by the Hamas Resistance group across the border to the Gaza Strip.

Israel’s Channel 13 has said that the number of Zionists killed has increased to 600, including both military and unarmed people.

Major airlines canceled dozens of flights to Tel Aviv this weekend after the Palestinian Hamas Resistance movement launched a surprise large-scale attack against the Zionists regime.

Concurrently, barrages of rockets continued to rain down on southern and central Israel, regularly sending hundreds of thousands of people running to shelters. Several people were wounded by rockets that evaded the Iron Dome defense system and smashed into towns. Some were seriously hurt.

Today, the Hebrew-language newspaper JPost wrote in a report that according to unofficial estimates, 750 Zionists have disappeared since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation by the Palestinian Resistance on Saturday.

The fake regime’s army is pounding Gaza with the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip saying that the number of martyrs in Israeli airstrikes in the enclave increased to 572 martyrs as of Sunday afternoon.

‘We are not attacking civilians’: Hamas says amid Operation Al-Aqsa Storm

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has rejected accusations of targeting civilians as the fighting rages across the occupied territories since the resistance groups launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on Saturday.

Osama Hamadan, senior spokesperson of Hamas, has told Al Jazeera that they are not attacking civilians.

“You have to differentiate between settlers and civilians; settlers attacked Palestinians,” Hamdan said.

“We are not targeting civilians on purpose. We have declared settlers are part of the occupation and part of the armed Israeli force. They are not civilians,” Hamadan added.

His remarks came after a number of Western-backed rights groups, including Amnesty International, accused the resistance movement of killing “Israeli civilians” in their retaliatory strikes.

Asked whether civilians in southern Israel were considered settlers, the Hamas spokesman said “Everyone knows there are settlements there.”

On Saturday, the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement launched its large-scale operation,  with a heavy barrage of rockets in response to Israel’s desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and increased settler violence.

At least 400 Israeli settlers and forces have died as a result of the large-scale operation — code-named Al-Aqsa Storm — and more than 2000 others have sustained injuries.

Following the operation, a spokesperson for the Israeli defense forces confirmed that Israeli settlers and soldiers are held captive in Gaza, however, the spokesperson declined to specify the number of hostages.

According to Israeli media outlets, unofficial estimates suggest that approximately 750 Israeli soldiers and settlers have been missing since fighting broke out.

Hospital officials in the Gaza Strip have recorded the death of 320 Palestinians and the injury of 1,990 others. A large number of buildings, homes, and public facilities have also been badly damaged due to heavy Israeli bombardments.

The Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said on its Telegram channel that the group had directed a “major missile strike on the settlement of Sderot with 100 missiles.”

The Qassam Brigades also called on Palestinians  “to join this battle” as fighting between Israeli forces and Hamas fighters continues.

Meanwhile, Mohannad Aklouk, Palestine’s permanent representative to the Arab League, said he had submitted a request for an emergency meeting of the regional body’s foreign ministers in the wake of the latest Israeli onslaught.

“The urgent meeting comes in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, including the escalation of incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by thousands of settlers and Israeli officials over the past days,” Aklouk was quoted as saying by the official Wafa news agency.

The retaliatory operation by Hamas on the occupied territories is the largest after the 11-day Israeli war against the Gaza Strip in May 2021, which took place after weeks of violence against Palestinians in Al-Quds and a brutal crackdown on worshipers at the al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as attempts to steal their land in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.

At least 260 Palestinians, including over 60 children, were killed during the Israeli offensive as the Gaza-based resistance movements retaliated. The regime was eventually forced to announce a ceasefire brokered by Egypt.

The spokesman for the Israeli military Daniel Hagari says the regime’s army will evacuate all Jewish settlers living close to the Gaza Strip within 24 hours, following a large-scale operation by Gaza-based Palestinian resistance in the occupied territories.

“Our mission for the upcoming 24 hours is to evacuate all residents living around Gaza,” Hagari told reporters on Sunday.

He added that fighting was still ongoing to “rescue hostages” held by Palestinian resistance fighters.

“There are tens of thousands of combat soldiers in the area. We’ll reach each and every community till we kill” every Palestinian fighter, Hagari said.

The Hamas resistance movement said its unprecedented offensive by land, air and sea was in response to the desecration of the al-Aqsa Mosque compound as well as Israeli atrocities against Palestinians over the decades.

These include the 16-year blockade of Gaza, Israeli raids inside the occupied West Bank cities over the past year, increasing attacks by settlers on Palestinians as well as the expansion of illegal settlements.

Mohammed Deif, a senior Hamas military commander, said the time has come “for the enemy to understand… they cannot keep going without consequences.”

Hamas leaders have stated that the assault that began in Gaza would escalate and spread to the occupied West Bank and al-Quds.

Israeli media outlets reported on Sunday that unofficial estimates suggest that approximately 750 Israeli soldiers and settlers have been missing since fighting broke out on Saturday morning.

They highlighted that despite a full day has passed since the unprecedented operation, Palestinian fighters are still present in Israeli settlements.

Palestinian medical authorities say more than 310 people have been killed and many more injured as a result of Israeli bombardment across the Gaza Strip.

Hospital officials in the Strip have recorded the death of 313 civilians and injury of 1,990 others. A large number of buildings, homes and public facilities have also been badly damaged due to heavy Israeli bombardments.

Al-Aqsa Storm made Israelis believe in their ‘nightmare of collapse’: Iran military chief

Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri says the “glorious” Palestinian military operation against Israel made the regime believe its “nightmare of collapse” is coming to life.

In a message issued on Sunday, Baqeri congratulated the Gaza-based resistance fighters on their victorious raid, dubbed Al-Aqsa Storm, saying Palestinian youth will soon enough liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the occupation of the Zionist enemy.

“Al-Aqsa Storm turned the Zionist leaders’ nightmare of the regime’s collapse into a certainty and proved that some desperate efforts, such as the ridiculous normalization show, will not be able to slow down or delay the decline and the collapse of the spider’s den (Israel),” he said.

“The Palestinian groups’ combined and glorious operation … against the positions and fortifications of armed to teeth Zionist regime in the occupied territories, once again proved the false awe and fake power of this occupying regime.”

On Saturday, the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement launched its large-scale operation with a heavy barrage of rockets in response to Israel’s desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and increased settler violence.

It shook the Israeli security establishment, leaving 350 Israelis dead and 750 others missing.

Baqeri emphasized that the surprise operation demonstrated “bright scenes of resistance and perseverance” as it was “the product of the holy anger that the Zionist enemy has planted in the oppressed Palestinian nation.”

Military analysts and strategists, he added, have been bewildered at the level of power achieved by the Palestinian nation after decades of oppression.

“Once the stone Intifada (uprising) was the Palestinian nation’s only defense tool, but today Palestinian fighters have reached a level of capability that enables them to deal strong blows to the Zionist enemy and make a mockery of its air defense systems and Iron Dome by firing thousands of rockets and missiles as part of a complex combined operation,” the top general said.

Iranian general hails Palestinians' Al-Aqsa Storm operation

The hybrid anti-Zionist operation of the Palestinian Resistance groups once again revealed the fake power of the Israeli regime, he said.

He went on to say that the Palestinian nation has now gained great power after tolerating decades of oppression.

The Al-Aqsa Storm operation is the product of the anger that the Zionist enemy has planted in the oppressed Palestinian nation’s heart and must now reap, General Bagheri stressed.

Extending congratulations to the Palestinians over their victory, he said that the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque would soon be liberated by the hands of Palestinian youths.

The Palestinian Resistance fighters staged a surprise, large-scale operation early Saturday in response to the desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque and increased settler violence.

Reports say at least 300 Zionists have been killed and over 1,100 injured as a result of the surprise Palestinian offensive that was launched on Saturday. The operation combined fighters crossing the fence into Israeli-occupied cities with a heavy barrage of rockets from the besieged Gaza Strip.

In response to the Palestinians’ operation, the Israeli regime carried out heavy bombardment across the besieged Gaza Strip which according to Palestinian medical authorities killed nearly 200 people and injured 1,610 others.

The death toll from the Hamas-led operation against the Israeli regime known as the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation has risen to more than 250, Hebrew-language media cite medical officials as saying, according to Times of Israel.

The regime’s Health Ministry also said at least 1,100 Zionists have been wounded, many seriously.

Hundreds of Hamas gunmen infiltrated into Occupied Palestinian Lands on Saturday morning, crossing at multiple points, overwhelming what the Israeli regime military considered to be the highly sophisticated border fence.

Thirteen hours after the start of the attacks, there are reported to still be 22 “active” areas in southern Israeli-controlled Palestinian lands, where gunmen are still operating.
