Abdul Muqeet Mohiuddin Chanda has been elected chairman of the HMWSSB Minority Employees Welfare Association, with Mohd Jameeluddin as president and Syed Haji Ali as general secretary. The new body will focus on employee welfare, workplace issues and support systems.

Hyderabad: Abdul Muqeet Mohiuddin Chanda, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Minority Cell general secretary, has been elected as the chairman of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) Minority Employees Welfare Association.
Mohd Jameeluddin was elected as the president of the association, while Syed Haji Ali was selected as the general secretary.
Speaking after his election, Abdul Muqeet said that he would work towards safeguarding the interests and welfare of HMWSSB employees. He assured that efforts would be made to address the issues faced by employees and strengthen the association.
He thanked the members for reposing confidence in him and said that he would strive to ensure better coordination between employees and the management for the overall development of the board. The newly elected body is expected to focus on employee welfare, workplace issues and improving support systems for staff.
