Telangana’s Nayana Sri Talluri has become the first Indian girl to qualify for the Junior World Cup in short track ice speed skating, with events scheduled in Italy (2026) and Kazakhstan (2027).

Hyderabad: Nayana Sri Talluri of Telangana qualified for the Winter Games short track ice speed skating Junior World Cup in 2026 held in Bormio, Italy and Kazakhstan 2027.
Nayana is the first Indian Girl to participate in this sports Asian Open Short track speed skating event held in Dehradun early this week where 14 countries participated in this event.
