Hyderabad: Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (GRIET) organised its 26th graduation day here. Gold medals were awarded to students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance in their respective departments. Degrees were also conferred upon all the students who successfully completed their courses.
JNTU-Hyderabad Rector Prof. A. Damodaram said education has always been a powerful catalyst in transforming individuals, societies and nations.
The character of good graduates inspires confidence, their innovations have the potential to transform society, and their achievements can contribute to the vision of building a developed India by 2047, he said.
Neurealm AI and Data Analytics head Dr. T Shaila Kumar emphasised the need for graduates to continuously upgrade their skills and stay abreast of emerging technologies.
Dr. Kumar said that to excel in the IT and ITES sectors, students should develop proficiency in cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI and Agentic AI. He observed that the influence of AI is expected to grow significantly over the next decade and urged the graduates to embrace new technologies and continuously enhance their capabilities to succeed in their respective fields.
