CRPF jawan killed, several injured in sand-laden lorry crash on NH-163 in Mulugu

A CRPF jawan from the 39th Battalion was killed and three others were injured after a sand-laden lorry crashed into their DCM van on NH-163 near Pasara Forest Check Post in Mulugu district.

Warangal: One CRPF jawan from the 39th Battalion died on the spot and a few others sustained injuries when a sand-laden lorry lost control on NH-163 and collided with a DCM van in which the CRPF jawans were travelling near Pasara Forest Check Post in Govindaraopet Mandal, Mulugu district.

Three other government employees were also injured when the lorry subsequently collided with a car travelling behind the van.

Muguram Ramakanth (36), a CRPF jawan, died on the spot. Three other CRPF jawans, including Girish Kumar, Prem Prakash, and Ram Jan Prasad, sustained injuries in the incident. More details are awaited.
