Images show damaged walls, vehicles and flooded rivers after a storm brought record rains and gusting winds in California.
The US National Weather Service warns of “life-threatening” flash flooding and includes Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Santa Barbara as areas under the emergency order.
