Novak Djokovic vs Jannik Sinner Live, Aus Open Semi-Final 1: Defending champion and top seed Novak Djokovic takes on Jannik Sinner in the first semi-final of the Australia Open at the Rod Laver Arena. Djokovic overcame American Taylor Fritz in the previous round while in-form Sinner thrashed Andrey Rublev in the quarterfinals. While Djokovic leads head-to-head meetings against Sinner, the Italian defeated him in the group stage at the ATP Finals — though the Serb came out on top in the final — and at the Davis Cup. In the second semi-final later today, third seed Daniil Medvedev will take on sixth seed Alexander Zverev.

The third game begins and Novak Djokovic fires a long shot, giving a 15-0 lead to Jannik Sinner. He then makes the same mistake as the Italian takes 30-0 lead. Djokovic takes the consolatory points, making it 40-15 before Sinner takes the game, making it 3-0 lead in the first set.

Jannik Sinner is looking in good touch today. He smartly overpowers Novak Djokovic’s serve and takes 15-0 lead. He then makes it 30-0 before the Serbian bounces back and makes it 30-all. The Italian did not lose the hope and successfully breaks Djokovic with a blistering cross-court forehand, to end the second match with 2-0 lead.
