Hyderabad: Pegasystems has announced the launch of its first-ever National Internship Programme (NIP), a five-week, 100% virtual learning experience delivered in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and SmartBridge Educational Services.
As part of Pega’s investment in developing future technology talent, NIP gives students across India direct, hands-on access to the technologies now reshaping how enterprises work. Through NIP, students get exposure to Generative AI and Pega Blueprint, Agentic engineering, Workflow automation, and Enterprise transformation.
NIP serves as a precursor to Pega’s flagship University Academic Programme (UAP), which is also expected to go live in August 2026 with a new strategy and curriculum. Together, the two programmes reflect Pega’s broader commitment to building a sustained talent pipeline across India’s academic institutions.
