Hyderabad: Samosa Smashers emerged champions of the Fanna Babu Memorial WMNC Cricket League 4, defeating Allied Attackers by three runs in a thrilling six-over final held as part of the World Mithai & Namkeen Convention (WMNC) Purchasing 2026 at HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad.
Burfi Blasters secured the third place in the tournament.
Batting first, Samosa Smashers posted 40/6 in 6 overs. Akshat Agrawal top-scored with 13 runs, For Allied Attackers, Sahil Gulati and Mohit claimed two wickets each, while Nitin Chougule and Maya Garu picked up one wicket apiece.
In reply, Allied Attackers managed 37/3 in 6 overs, falling just three runs short of the target. Sahil Gulati top-scored with 14 runs. Dheeraj, Gopal Thakkar, and Shyam Marvania claimed one wicket each for Samosa Smashers to guide their team to a memorable title victory.
