Hyderabad: To promote the concept of needle-free injections, Miracle Hospitals for Women and Child, Boduppal, conducted a two-day needle-free vaccination camp for children.

Led by senior pediatricians, Dr Suhas Nalla and Dr M Swathvik Reddy, the initiative offered children a gentler alternative to the conventional needle-based injections.

For the past few years, several children’s hospitals and pediatricians have been increasingly exploring needle-free vaccine delivery as part of routine immunisation. The shift is aimed at reducing fear and anxiety commonly associated with vaccinations among children and parents.

Unlike conventional injections, N-FIS needle-free systems utilise controlled, high-pressure jet streams, eliminating the need for needles, thus improving patient comfort without compromising vaccine efficacy.
