Hyderabad: Two persons were killed in a head-on collision between a scooter and a Royal Enfield motorcycle on the AMB Flyover along the Hafeezpet-Gachibowli stretch on Friday.
According to the police, the accident occurred when a scooter travelling on the wrong side of the flyover collided with an oncoming Royal Enfield motorcycle in the morning.
The scooter riders, identified as Srikanth and Vittal, suffered multiple grievous injuries and died on the spot due to the impact.
The Royal Enfield rider, identified as Vinod, suffered injuries and was shifted to a nearby private hospital for treatment.
On receiving information, the police reached the accident spot, registered a case and took up the investigation.
They are investigating the exact circumstances that led to the crash.
The bodies of the victims were shifted to a hospital for autopsy.
