Five peacocks found dead under suspicious circumstances in Siddipet

Five peacocks were found dead under suspicious circumstances at Kondamaraju Palli in Siddipet district’s Nanganur mandal. Forest officials recovered the carcasses and sent them for postmortem. The cause of death will be known after the veterinary report

Siddipet: Five peacocks were found dead under suspicious circumstances at Kondamaraju Palli in Nanganur mandal on Sunday by farmers.

The farmers immediately alerted forest officials. Deputy Forest Range Officer J. Padma and her team visited the spot and recovered the carcasses.

The bodies were later sent to a veterinary hospital for postmortem examination.

Forest officials said the cause of death would be known only after receiving the postmortem report.
