Hyderabad: Telangana kickboxers put up a fine performance at the recent WAKO India Junior National Kickboxing Championship, winning 19 medals, including six gold, three silver and 10 bronze.
Telangana secured the eighth position with its best-ever medal tally in the history of the Junior National Kickboxing Championships.
Mrs Soni Bala Devi, MD of SATG, felicitated the medallists and the support staff.
Medallists:
Gold: Jashwan Sadabattula (two gold), Prabhu Das Vanarasi, Varun Mallela, Jayavardhan Poosala, Guruveer Singh Bonil.
Silver: Shreshta Reddy Pasham, Poojitha Dappu, Mahith Chowdary, Balusu (1 silver and 1 bronze).
Bronze: Lokesh Chodiboyina, Parshi Karthik, Mategam Akshaya, Priya Hari, Ganesh Poosala, Rajashekar Ernala, Rizwan Farooqui Mohammed, M. Vikas Krishnan and Jaipal Nadimidoddi.
