Police have arrested two persons, including an accused and a buyer, in connection with the PMJ jewellery showroom theft case in West Bengal. Gold ornaments were recovered as special teams intensified interstate searches across Bihar, Maharashtra and other states.

Karimnagar: One of the accused involved in PMJ jewellery theft and another person are reportedly arrested by the police in West Bengal.
Special police teams, which were searching for the accused in other states, arrested one of the burglars in West Bengal while they were trying to sell stolen gold ornaments.
Besides the thief, another person who purchased the gold from the gang has also been taken into custody. Some quantity of gold was also seized from them, it is learnt.
Taking PMJ jewellery showroom theft as a challenge, police intensified the search operation to nab the accused. Since the accused belong to other states, special teams were also sent to Bihar, Maharashtra and other states.
