Hyderabad: The five-day National Pharmacokinetic–Pharmacodynamic (PK–PD) workshop, organized by the Clinical Pharmacology department of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), concluded on Friday, May 1, 2026.
The workshop, which served as a valuable scientific platform to strengthen understanding of PK–PD principles, featured expert lectures, case-based discussions, and hands-on training sessions focusing on pharmacokinetic–pharmacodynamic experiments and their practical applications.
Participants were introduced to contemporary tools and methodologies shaping modern drug development and clinical pharmacology practice in India.
Faculty members, residents, and delegates from across India actively participated, making the workshop a dynamic platform for academic exchange and skill development. Dr. Beerappa, Director, NIMS, Dr. Liza Rajashekhar, Dean, NIMS, Dr. C. Prabhakar Reddy, Additional Professor and Head, Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Additional Professors, Assistant Professors, students participated in the concluding day of the workshop.
