Telangana govt appoints Hanumantha Rao, Shivadhar as advisors

V Hanumantha Rao was appointed advisor for BC Welfare in Telangana with Minister of State rank. Retiring DGP B Shivadhar Reddy was named State Security Advisor

Hyderabad: Former MP V Hanumantha Rao has been appointed as the advisor to the government for BC Welfare and Development in the rank and status of Minister of State in Telangana.

Similarly, senior IPS officer B Shivadhar Reddy who will retire on Thursday as Director General of Police, has been appointed as State Security Advisor (SSA) to the government on issues concerning police, law and order, internal security, narcotics control and road safety for a period of three years.

Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao issued orders to this effect.
