Russia delivers 51 tons of aid to Iran

“The Russian nation, during this difficult time, continues its support for Iranian friends in various forms, both at governmental levels and in the private sector,” the embassy of Russia in Tehran wrote on its Telegram channel.

“In this regard, on 21 Farvardin 1405 (April 10th, 2026), the delivery of a humanitarian aid shipment took place at the border city of Astara. This shipment included 51 tons of sunflower oil and household hygiene products, which were collected by the charitable foundation “Nefis” (Нэфис) from the Republic of Tatarstan and delivered to representatives of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” according to the Russian embassy.

“We wish the Iranian nation peace, prosperity, and a swift passage through this difficult and challenging stage,” it concluded.
