BRS working president KT Rama Rao inaugurated a state-of-the-art robotic knee replacement surgery facility at Renee Hospital in Karimnagar, marking the first of its kind in north Telangana. Local leaders including MLA Gangula Kamalakar and Mayor Kolagani Srinivas attended the event.

Karimnagar: BRS working president KT Rama Rao launched a Robotic knee replacement surgery facility in Renee Hospital on Sunday.
First of its kind in north-Telangana, robotic knee replacement surgery facility was launched. Rs 5 crore worth modern robotic surgery equipment of Velys company was inaugurated.
Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao praised hospital chairman Dr Bangari Swamy and Dr Rajini Priyadarshini for introducing modern health facilities at the district level.
Later, the BRS leader participated in a draw of lots to select 15 beneficiaries for free knee replacement surgeries to be conducted at Renee hospital.
Local MLA Gangula Kamalakar, Mayor Kolagani Srinivas, SUDA chairman Komatireddy Narender Reddy and others participated in the programme.
