Hyderabad: Illegal bakery raided in Gudimalkapur; owner arrested

The Task Force (Golconda Zone) and local police raided an illegal bakery in Gudimalkapur, Hyderabad, arresting owner Ahmed Raza. Bakery products, raw materials, and machinery worth Rs 12.54 lakh were seized. Products were being supplied illegally, posing serious health risks.

Hyderabad: Illegal bakery raided in Gudimalkapur; owner arrested

Hyderabad: The Task Force (Golconda Zone), along with the local police, raided an illegal bakery manufacturing unit operating in unhygienic conditions and arrested its owner at KD Colony in Gudimalkapur.

Officials seized bakery products, raw materials, and machinery, altogether worth Rs 12.54 lakh.


Officials said the owner, Ahmed Raza, was running the unit without a valid licence and using low-quality ingredients to produce items like biscuits, rusk, and buns.

Police stated that the products were being illegally supplied to local shops, posing serious health risks.
