Rescuers search for survivors in the rubble of Amer’s family home, which was hit by an Israeli airstrike in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The health ministry in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip said on Tuesday that 5,791 people had been killed in the territory since the outbreak of war with Israel. The death toll includes 2,360 children.
