A migrant couple working at a construction site in Indresham under Patancheru police station limits in Sangareddy district was found murdered while asleep. Police suspect unidentified miscreants killed them with sharp weapons and have launched an investigation.

Sangareddy: A couple working at a construction site was found murdered at Indresham under the Patancheru police station limits during the intervening hours of Friday and Saturday. Unidentified miscreants are suspected to have beat them to death with sharp weapons while they were asleep.
Somla Dasarath (50) and Manyamma (46), natives of Dongachintha Thanda in Gudur mandal of Mahabubnagar district, had migrated to Indresham a few years ago in search of livelihood.
The couple were living in a hut close to the construction site where they were working. The murder of the couple in the middle of a residential colony created a sensation in the area.
On receiving information from locals, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to the government hospital in Patancheru for postmortem.
The police pressed the clues team, forensic officials and dog squad into service to collect evidence and track the accused. They were also examining CCTV footage in the area to identify the killers.
A case was registered and investigation is on.
