In a message on Monday, Ayatollah Amoli Larijani extended his congratulations to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei and the people of Iran on his election as the new and third Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
In his message, Amoli Larijani stated that the martyrdom of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was a heartbreaking and deep sorrow for the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah.
Iran’s Assembly of Experts named Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new leader of the Islamic Revolution in the wee hours of March 9.
Following the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei by the US-Israeli aggression on Iran on Feb. 28, the Assembly of Experts elected Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the third Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
