Hyderabad: On the second day of Mechanical Baja SAE India 2026 held at B V Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur, buggy power efficiency competition tests were conducted in various categories on Friday, said M Baja SAE India Convener Ali Syed and Joint Convener Vemula Muralikrishna, Professor of Mechanical Engineering.
Students presented their engineering skills and the buggy teams showcased their prowess in key tests such as Accelerometer, Sled Pull, Maneuverability, Suspension, and Traction.
M Baja 2026 Co-Convenor Lalitha Patra said, “The student teams successfully conducted static events such as Technical Inspections, Cost, Validation, Sustainability, and Innovation on the same day, as well as dynamic tests like Sled Pull, Maneuverability, Suspension, and Traction.”
As part of the technical inspection, the teams inspected their vehicles for safety checks as per the prescribed rules, and 36 teams successfully completed the technical inspection by the evening.
