GITAM Hyderabad opens admissions for 2026–27, launches School of Education

GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, has opened admissions for the 2026–27 academic year, introducing new programmes in entrepreneurship, teacher education, biotechnology, robotics and AI. The university has also launched a School of Education and announced scholarships of up to 100 per cent.

GITAM Hyderabad opens admissions for 2026–27, launches School of Education

Hyderabad: GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, has announced admissions for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2026–27. The University has also launched its School of Education, further expanding its multidisciplinary learning ecosystem.

The Hyderabad campus has introduced several new programmes this year, including BBA (Entrepreneurship) in association with the Bower School of Entrepreneurship, B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. under the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), B.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Tech. Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, and M.Pharm in Industrial Pharmacy.


Admissions are open through GAT 2026 and recognised national and state-level entrance examinations, including TG EAPCET, AP EAPCET, NCET, NATA, JEE, CUET, GMAT, CAT, and others. Students can avail of scholarships of up to 100%, covering tuition fees, food, and accommodation, based on merit and performance in qualifying examinations.

The GITAM Admission Test (GAT 2026), a national-level entrance examination conducted by the University, is scheduled for June 28, in online mode across India. The last date to apply is June 26.
