Hyderabad: Paras Raj cracked a century (102 n.o., 44b, 10×4, 7×6) to help Osmania University record an emphatic one-wicket win against Bangalore North University in the second round of the South Zone inter-university cricket championship in Mysuru on Thursday.
Earlier, Paras hit a half-century to star in Osmania’s first-round win against Centurion University.
Paras is coached by Santosh Kumar and trains at Raftar Cricket Academy.

1st round: Osmania University 257/7 in 20 overs (Paras Raj 51, Vaibhav 40, Anivith Reddy 34, Chandu 3/40) bt Centurion University 47 in 9.1 overs (VN Dhanush 5/4).
2nd round: Bangalore North University 145/7 in 20 overs (Nagesh 47, Vamshi Kumar 3/24, VM Dhanush 2/31) lost to Osmania University 146/0 in 11.3 overs (Paras Raj 102 n.o., Anvith Reddy 26).
