Hyderabad: Meru International School hosted Meru Pravinya 2026, its annual Entrepreneurship Ideathon, under the school’s flagship M-CLAP (Meru Career, Leadership & Life Skills, Academic Enrichment Program) for students of Grades 5 to 12.

Held at T-Hub under the theme “Design for Humanity: Innovations for Survival in War”, the event brought together young innovators from the school’s Miyapur and Tellapur campuses.

Nearly 2,000 students contributed 375 unique ideas, while 66 teams comprising 247 student innovators participated in four days of semifinal rounds. The rounds were evaluated by industry professionals, with the shortlisted teams advancing to the grand finale.

The finale was attended by Founder and Director Meghana Gorukanti Jupally, jury members Chiranjeevi Maddala, Co-founder and CEO of Learnia.ai, and Rajeev Kumar, Vice-President of Sales and Expansion at Bower School of Entrepreneurship.

Meghana said, “From search-and-rescue robots to solutions for monitoring food-storage conditions during emergencies, students explored ideas rooted in real human needs. Entrepreneurship is about understanding the people who need a solution, whether they can afford it and how effectively it serves them.”
