Hyderabad police booked a Detective Inspector at Khairatabad police station following a woman’s complaint alleging sexual exploitation on the promise of marriage

Hyderabad: A Detective Inspector working at Khairatabad police station, was booked by Saidabad police following a complaint by a woman alleging that he sexually exploited her on the promise of marriage.
According to the police, the victim lodged at Saidabad police station, alleging that Balaswamy had been deceiving her since 2017 by promising to marry her. She further alleged that even after her husband’s death, he continued the relationship with her on the assurance that he would marry her.
The woman reportedly confronted him and demanded that he fulfil his promise, but he refused, following which she approached the police. The police registered a case.
