Hyderabad’s FIDE-rated chess player Bhavanam Nithik Reddy won the A2H Open rapid prize-money tournament on Sunday. Despite tying with four other players on 5.5 points after six rounds, he secured the title with a better tie-break score

Hyderabad: FIDE-rated Hyderabad player Bhavanam Nithik Reddy won the A2H Open rapid prize-money chess tournament here on Sunday.

Nithik tied with four other players on 5.5 points after six rounds but clinched the title on the strength of a better tie-break score. DSSU Sathwik finished second.
