A 20-year-old labourer from Rajasthan, Sunil Bishnoi, died of electrocution while installing steel railings at a private school in Kothakothuru village of Khammam district. The railing rod reportedly touched a nearby power line. Police registered a case and began an investigation.

Khammam: A young labourer from Rajasthan died of electrocution while installing railings at a private school in Kothakothuru village of Nelakondapalli mandal in Khammam district on Friday.
The deceased, Sunil Bishnoi, aged around 20, was residing in Kodad town and was engaged in installing steel railings at the school. While lifting a steel railing rod to install it, the rod accidentally came into contact with a nearby power line, causing him to suffer a severe electric shock and collapse.
Fellow workers and school staff immediately rushed him to the Nelakondapalli Government Hospital. After examining him, medical staff confirmed that he had died.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police visited the spot, registered a case and took up an investigation.
