Hyderabad recorded the highest number of voter additions and deletions in Telangana, with 29,226 names added and 2,066 removed as of October 7. The city also received 6,335 Form 7 applications seeking deletion of names from electoral rolls.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad topped the State in adding and deleting electors, with 29,226 voters added to the electoral rolls and 2,066 names removed as of October 7.
As per the information released by the Telangana Chief Electoral Office on Thursday, Hyderabad recorded the highest number of Form 7 applications, seeking deletion of 6,335 voters from the rolls and 2,066 names have already been removed.
Among the 15 Assembly constituencies, Jubilee Hills saw a maximum of Form 7 at 1,026 applications, followed by 963 in Yakutpura.
Musheerabad, Goshmahala and Bahadurpura Assembly constituencies, which hit the headlines over alleged pre-printed Form 7 submission for bulk deletion of voters, saw 151, 222 and 842 applications respectively.
So far, Nampally constituency registered the highest number of votes deletion at 316 out of 523 applications, followed by Yakatupura constituency where 242 names were removed from 842 applications.
As for additions, 1,93,135 Form 6 (application for enrolment of new elector) applications have been filed from Hyderabad, with highest of 28,165 from Bahadurpura, 22,750 Chandrayangutta and 19,008 from Nampally constituencies. As many as 29,226 names have already been included in the roll.
Among other districts, 1,122 voter names out of 2,223 in Rangareddy district were excluded from the final voter list. However, this district recorded 74,375 Form 6 applications and 6,206 names have already been added to the rolls.
In Medchal-Malkajgiri district, 1,749 Form 7 applications were received and 761 names deleted from the rolls. While 64,167 applications were filed seeking new enrolment and 386 were cleared. In Peddapalli district, 1,737 Form 7 applications registered and 1,332 electors were excluded from the final roll.
Overall, 24,323 Form 7 applications were filed across 119 Assembly constituencies in the State and 12,204 names were removed from the rolls, so far.
As for new enrolment, 4,88,417 Form 6 and 6,270 Form 6A (application for addition by overseas Indian) applications were filed and 51,821 and 118 respectively were cleared for inclusion in the final list, which will be published on November 9.
