A 28-year-old software employee from Andhra Pradesh allegedly died by suicide at a hostel in Hyderabad’s Gachibowli. Police said a suicide note recovered from the room cited depression and loneliness as reasons, and an investigation is underway.

Hyderabad: A 28-year-old software professional allegedly died by suicide at a hostel in Gachibowli on Monday night.
The victim was identified as Bandela Maneesha, a native of Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh.
According to police, Maneesha was staying at Arya Elite Hostel in Gachibowli and was working for an IT company in Nanakramguda.
The hostel staff found her hanging from the ceiling fan in her room on Tuesday and informed the police.
Police reportedly recovered a suicide note in which she mentioned depression and loneliness as reasons for taking the extreme step.
The Gachibowli police registered a case and are investigating based on the facts in the suicide note.
