On the day of the accident, two women, identified as Aggu Soundarya (38) and Chintakuntla Laxmi (38), from Gidipet Venkatapur, were killed instantly. The victims were saleswomen employed at shopping malls in Mancherial town and were on their way to work when the mishap occurred.
Police suspected that negligence by the three-wheeler driver caused the accident.
