Malkajgiri special operations and food adulteration surveillance teams raided two food manufacturing units in Alwal and Dundigal on Wednesday. They seized paneer, skimmed milk powder, halwa, oil and Dalda over suspected violations of food safety standards.

Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri special operations team, in coordination with the Malkajgiri Food Adulteration Surveillance Team (MFAST), conducted raids at two food manufacturing units in Alwal and Dundigal on Wednesday and seized large quantities of paneer, skimmed milk powder and other food materials over suspected violations of food safety standards.
At Natraj Milk & Milk Food Products in Turkapally, Alwal, the teams allegedly found Japala Natraj (56) preparing paneer by mixing skimmed milk powder. Approximately 500 kg of loose paneer and two bags containing 50 kg of skimmed milk powder were seized. Natraj was handed over to Alwal police for further legal action.
In another raid at Yashoda Sweet & Namkeen in Bowrampet, Dundigal, the teams allegedly found in-charge Pushpendra Baghel (32) preparing halwa and other sweets using skimmed milk powder, oil and Dalda. The seized material included multiple brands of skimmed milk powder, 21 kg of packed halwa, 100 tins of Freedom oil and 50 tins of Dalda.
The raids were conducted as part of preventive enforcement measures to safeguard food quality and consumer health, officials said.
