A 35-year-old man allegedly died by suicide following a family dispute at Sarrenga Thanda in Parvathagiri mandal of Warangal district. The incident was reportedly witnessed by family members and recorded on a mobile phone.

Warangal: A man, distressed by family disputes, took his own life right in front of his family members in Parvathagiri mandal in the district.
According to police, the deceased, Banoth Jawaharlal, aged around 35 years and a resident of Sarrenga thanda in the mandal had been facing family conflicts. Tensions escalated following an altercation among family members on Monday.
In a fit of rage, Jawaharlal hanged himself from the ceiling of a shed in his house while his wife, mother and others watched him resort to the extreme step. One of the family members recorded the incident on a mobile phone while it was unfolding and a video clip of the incident, shared on social media, caused a stir.
Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the spot, enquired into the incident and shifted the body to MGM Hospital, Warangal, for a post-mortem. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway into the incident.
