BV Raju Institute of Technology in Narsapur hosted a foreign higher education awareness seminar and passport mela in coordination with GECF, with representatives of universities from several countries interacting with students and providing information on courses and overseas education opportunities.

Medak: A foreign higher education awareness seminar and passport mela was conducted at BV Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT), Narsapur, in coordination with the Global Education and Career Foundation (GECF). The programme was held at the BVRIT auditorium with the objective of creating awareness among students about higher education opportunities available abroad.
Representatives from several reputed universities across Germany, France, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Sweden participated in the seminar. Students had the opportunity to interact directly with the representatives of universities and obtain information regarding various courses, admission opportunities, overseas education pathways and other aspects of higher education.
Representatives from PFH University, Germany; NEOMA Business School, France; Schulich School of Business, Canada; The University of Utah – Salt Lake City, USA; Keck Graduate Institute, USA; London South Bank University, UK; Emlyon business school, France; Queen Mary University of London, UK; Edith Cowan University, Australia; Northeastern University, with campuses in the USA, UK and Canada; Jönköping University, Sweden; and Clarkson University, USA, participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, BVRIT Director Dr K Lakshmi Prasad said they were making continuous efforts to identify what students need and what would be beneficial for their future. He stated that the efforts of the Chairman of the institute KV Vishnu Raju had contributed to bringing representatives of several leading international universities to BVRIT, enabling students to gain first-hand information and guidance on higher education opportunities abroad. As part of the programme, a passport mela was also organised.
