Nizamabad: A junior assistant and an outsourced staffer from Nizamabad Municipal Corporation (NMC) were arrested by ACB officials while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 on Monday.
ACB officials said that Ashok, a junior assistant, and Kiran, an outsourced employee working with the municipality, were caught red-handed while receiving the bribe for granting permission to take up a work. A case has been registered against the two. Investigations have been taken up. Further details are awaited.
