KL Deemed to be University and HCL AI Labs have signed an MoU to establish an Agentic AI Campus and introduce AI-powered degrees. The collaboration will integrate AI into curricula, laboratories, projects and learning activities while developing students’ practical skills.

Hyderabad: KL Deemed to be University has joined hands with HCL AI Labs to establish the ‘Agentic AI Campus, powered by HCL AI Labs, with AI-Powered Degrees’. The partnership was formalised through an MoU signed between the two on Monday.
On Monday, the MoU signing ceremony featured formal kick-off of the Agentic AI Campus initiative, student interactions and academic–industry deliberations.
The collaboration will strive to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills to understand, develop and deploy next-generation Artificial Intelligence and Agentic AI systems.
AI will be progressively integrated into degree programmes, curricula, laboratories, projects and learning activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Koneru Satyanarayana, Chancellor, KL Deemed to be University, said, “Through our collaboration, we aim to empower students across disciplines to progress from using AI tools to designing intelligent agents, developing deployable solutions and building meaningful products for real-world challenges.”
Deepak Saravanan, AVP and National Head (AI Lab), HCL, Dr G Pardha Saradhi Varma, VC, KL Deemed to be University, and senior officials from the University and HCL were present.
