Tetra FC crowned Subramaniam Memorial U-15 champions after tie-breaker win

Tetra FC defeated Phoenix 3-2 via tie-breaker to win the 13th Subramaniam Memorial U-15 football tournament. Musharaf, Lokesh and Manideep scored for Tetra, while Ashok and Aaron found the net for Phoenix in the final

Hyderabad: Tetra FC defeated Phoenix 3-2 via tie-breaker in the final of the 13th Subramaniam Memorial Under-15 football tournament here on Sunday.

For the winners, Musharaf, Lokesh and Manideep were the scorers, while Ashok and Aaron netted one each for the losers.

Earlier, in the semifinal, Phoenix FC defeated Emmanuel FC via a penalty shoot-out, with Aaron, Ashok and Revanth being the scorers, while Nishith and Farasath scored for the losers.

In the other semifinal, Tetra defeated Tofa FC 1-0, with Mani netting the match-winner.

Result: Final: Tetra FC bt Phoenix 3-2 — via tie-breaker.
