Hyderabad: Samyukta Vanapally of Hyderabad, riding Captain, cleared the National Qualifier (NQ) conducted by the Equestrian Federation of India at the Nasr Polo & Equestrian Academy here on Friday.
Other city riders — Aamir Shanawaz Mohammed (Darcy), Aizah Mir (Astride Quibelle), Lehak Mehta (Groot) and Mir Najamuddin Azam (Beliz Pong) — delivered confident and composed performances across the dressage and show jumping competitions, meeting the prescribed qualification standards and moving a step closer to participating in the Junior National Equestrian Championship (JNEC) 2026.
Clearing the NQ is an important milestone in the riders’ journey towards the national championship. Their success is a testament to their disciplined training, determination and the dedicated support of their coaches, parents, clubs and support teams.
