KTR’s PRO Mahesh Manikya Mudiraj released after Bolarum police notice

BRS working president K T Rama Rao’s PRO Mahesh Manikya Mudiraj was released by Bolarum police on Friday after being served a BNSS notice. He had been taken from Saifabad police station in connection with another case involving alleged obstruction of police duties.

KTR’s PRO Mahesh Manikya Mudiraj released after Bolarum police notice

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T.Rama Rao’s public relations officer Mahesh Manikya Mudiraj was released by the Bolarum police on Friday morning, after serving him a notice under Section 35(3) of the BNSS.

He had been taken from Saifabad police station to Bolarum police station on Thursday night in connection with a case alleging obstruction of police duties.
Mahesh had earlier appeared before Saifabad police after being served a notice in connection with a separate case registered over an alleged incident at the Telangana Assembly on September 7.


The Saifabad police had booked Mahesh and KTR’s personal assistant Mahender for allegedly abusing and threatening a reserve inspector and obstructing him from performing their duties.

While Mahesh was at Saifabad police station, Bolarum police took him into custody in connection with another case registered over an incident on September 8.

Police had stopped BRS leaders at the Bolarum check-post while they were proceeding towards former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s Erravalli farmhouse, citing law-and-order restrictions.

Police alleged that Mahesh entered into an argument with Begumpet ACP Gopalakrishna Murthy, behaved aggressively and obstructed police personnel from perfory their duties. A case was registered under Sections 132 and 223 of the BNS.
