Hyderabad: The country’s elite cueists, including former Asian heyball champion Sundeep Gulati, will be seen in action in the NSCI Open 8-Ball Pool tournament to be held at the NSCI Club in New Delhi from September 26 to October 5.
Reigning world billiards champion Sourav Kothari, Kamal Chawla, Bengaluru’s Vidya Pillai and Chitra Magimairaj, the national 9-ball and 10-ball pool champion, are among the other prominent names in the 10-day event.
The tournament, which carries a prize purse of Rs 5 lakh, is being organised by the Delhi Billiards and Snooker Association in association with the National Sports Club of India (NSCI).
