Nizamabad YouTuber Vaishnavi’s husband hacked to death by unidentified assailant

Chittari Haribabu, husband of deceased YouTuber Vaishnavi, was hacked to death by an unidentified assailant at Rajarajendra crossroads in Nizamabad on Thursday. Haribabu was out on bail in connection with Vaishnavi’s murder, for which police had registered a case.

Nizamabad: In yet another gruesome incident in the State, Chittari Haribabu, husband of deceased YouTuber Vaishnavi, was hacked to death at Rajarajendra crossroads in the town on Thursday by an unidentified person.

Haribabu, 26, was accused in the murder of Vaishnavi, 19. She was four months pregnant when she was killed in March this year. Following a complaint from her father, police had registered a case against Haribabu. He was currently out on bail.


Since then, Haribabu had been living with his mother and earning a livelihood by selling corn. As usual, he arrived at Rajarajendra crossroads on Thursday and was quenching his thirst at a roadside eatery.

Suddenly, a person alighted from a car and walked towards Haribabu before attacking him with a weapon. After ensuring that Haribabu had died on the spot, the assailant fled in a car that was waiting on the other side of the road, according to reports.

Police arrived at the spot and shifted the body to the Government General Hospital for post-mortem examination. Visuals of the attack were widely shared on social media.
